I purchased the heater to help add supplement heat in our finished room in our basement. The room just has one heater vent and can stay on the cool side especially with the low temperatures we have been having. Although, the heater is a small, it takes the chill out of the room in about 30 minutes to an hour. The room is about 10x25 and is not a small room but the heater does a good job. The flames are very realistic looking as well. So far I am very happy with the purchase!

Quiet Ambiance

Obviously it's not a real fire, but I love the glow and look of this little heater. Adjustable thermostat, and brightness. Best thing - it's quiet. I had a different kind before that made a terrible clicking noise. This one, so far, is nice and quiet and warming our bedroom nicely. I may get a second one for another room. So much prettier than a normal heater. It would be nice if it had a remote, but the thermostat on it makes that not a huge deal to me. It turns on and off as needed.

Arrived two days earlier than expected..appears to heat well...color is vintage black and goes well with my decor...it was on sale...what else could I ask for?? As long as it stays together and everything keeps working...its aces!!

Small, portable, attractive and warm!! Everything I was looking for!!

I do my remote yoga in a finished basement room that gets very cold during our New England winters. Was looking for a small portable heater to help get the chill out of the floor when I saw this cute little fireplace and bought it before I even looked at the reviews. After reading the nightmare stories of burned outlets and melted plugs, I was afraid to plug the thing in, but since I didn't have any big stickers on the unit (a big complaint from several people) I was hopeful that the company had addressed the complaints and made improvements. I believe I may be right.1. No sticker was on my unit, it arrived totally clean.2. The only assembly was the 4 legs that took me less than 3 minutes to screw onto the bottom.3. Packaging was excellent, well padded, and everything was intact with no broken, dented or scratched areas.4. Unit is very light and easy to move.5. Flame lights are attractive, and the lightnbrightness is adjustable.6. Fan and heater are in the bottom of the unit, which is perfect for blowing the heat out onto the cold floor.7. Heat level is adjustable and automatically shuts down once the room reaches the desired temperature.8. Fan is very quiet, even at highest speed.9. Very attractive piece of furniture. The top stays cool and you can set your coffee or cocktail on it.10. Plug doesn't heat up, even after several hours of use.11. No issues with tripping breakersI can't speak to it's longevity since I've only had it for a few days, but so far I absolutely love this little heater and am so glad I bought the fireplace instead of a plain old heater.

It's little, but effective and pretty!

I think it's lovely. If you want to hand stockings and need something below, this is great. It's just a little space heater but it has two settings: 750 and 1500 degrees. Plus it blows heat very well.
