Love the scooter I'm 220 pounds and it holds me just fine. I bought it for my five-year-old but I find myself riding it more than him. It wasn't hard to put together at all not sure what everyone is talking about in the reviews if you have ever put a bike together before then this is no different I did use my own Sockets, wrenchs and channel lock pliers to put this together instead of the tool provided because that thing is definitely a joke and would make putting this scooter together a heck of a lot harder. I love that the handlebars go up and down so that it can grow with my son. I will say if you were an adult trying to buy this for yourself the deck that you stand on is not very long. So if you have big feet it might make it hard to ride I wear a size 9 in women's shoes And it's just the right size for my foot placement. To sum it up it's adjustable so that it's short enough for a five-year-old to use but the handlebars will go up it will be tall enough for an adult to use it's strong and sturdy. I hope review is helpful
I bought this for a christmas gift for my daughter. The item was shipped in good condition and easy to put together. First time to adjust the brakes but i did it. I tried it out and like the smoothness of the ride with these bike tires. Brakes work okay too. I like the wide foot plate for standing stability and balance while in motion and the handlebars are a good height too. It is a great alternative to cycling and good exercise. I know she will enjoy riding it.
I like the size. The breaks kinda suck. Well they work but after you use them the rub and it's rather annoying. We have tried repeatedly to adjust them so they won't rub to no avail.
Had to use a file on the handlebar assembly and we had to tighten up the brakes with a hex wrench not found in the box. Once assembled it seems great and super sturdy. Will buy two more for my other two kiddos:).
I purchase the Aosom kids and teens ride on scooter for my seven-year-old granddaughter's birthday. I did not want to get her a scooter with small wheels and looked like a small child's scooter. This scooter fit the ticket with bicycle style wheels and front and rear brakes. It looks good and is very well built. She was totally excited when she saw it.
