Thoughts on product

Here are some thoughts about the product. Overall the unit is reasonable for the price. The frame is solid and the wheels are fine. Comes in two pieces (a) handlebar with the brakes attached (at least mine did) and (b) remainder of the frame. One connects the handlebar to the frame via a friction fit achieved by tightening a bolt. This part was cake to assemble. Where I advise folks to look out is the brakes. First, to attach the wheels to the frame, compress each brake pair together by hand and slip the cable out of the second brake pad assembly. the wheel will then slip in readily. Next, if the brakes require adjusting because they dont compress evenly, use a phillips on the small screw one sees jutting out the side of the unit. Had to figure this out the hard way.

Nice Durable Scooter

We brought this scooter for our grandchild because it has the large wheels that work on gravel. The assembly directions are not great, the the waterproof sleeve on the base of the handlebar neck was too large to fit in the frame tube tube so we had to discard it. Otherwise it seems to function well and reminds us of a scooter we purchased many years ago. We think it will hold up well to gravel driveways and forest pathways.

I hated the provided tool.

The scooter is great. The tool they send to assemble is awkward and frustrating. My suggestion is to use nuts and bolts that fit regular socket sets or Allen wrenches. Other than that, these are great

I'm 25 years old, 140 pounds. I bought this as a convenient way to ride to the post office and back (about 32 blocks/~2.4 miles).
I never used a scooter before in my life. When I first started using it, I had so much trouble balancing on it. I wanted to give up and send it back after the first day. It left me extremely tired and light-headed, but I decided to keep trying it for at least a week. By the 5th day, I felt like a pro and could ride it fairly effortlessly. That was satisfying.

Helps little ones not fall on bumps

Very sturdy, well built, easy to put together, quality product from top to bottom.... The bigger wheels help little ones from eating pavement when they go over an uneven crack in the concrete...if you are wary of uneven sidewalks.. have no fear... this will help your little ones glide over those and small bumps.
