[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment you switch it on, the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 90 Hz refresh demands attention. Blacks are deep, colors pop, and even in bright sunlight it holds up. Samsung keeps the bezels modest (though not non-existent), and while the body leans plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap. The slim 7.9 mm profile adds elegance to what’s otherwise a practically built phone.
It’s not waterproof to flagship levels, but with IP54 splash/dust resistance, you get a little extra peace of mind. Under the hood, you’ll find either Samsung’s Exynos 1330 or MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (region-dependent) supplying the muscle. For many everyday tasks—social media, chatting, light apps—it delivers well enough. However, heavy multitasking, games, or pushing it too hard will show the cracks: stutters and lag are still present.
On the software side, Samsung makes a bold promise: 6 years of OS / security updates (Android 14 out of the box). That’s rare in this price class and gives the A16 lasting relevance. But be aware — you won’t get Samsung’s AI extras here (too modest hardware). The camera setup is straightforward: 50 MP main, 5 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro. In bright or good lighting, photos have decent detail and dynamic range. But like many budget phones, low light is where compromises show — noise, softer edges, and white balance inconsistencies crop up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung A16 for everything. I use awalking app my music my games. Literally just about everything I do in life. It's always with me. But it locks up UI system not responding or the screen goes crazy and don't work.i upgraded from A15 to the A16 wish I hadn't. I wish I could use Galaxy AI

My galaxy A16 the good the bad my Samsung slowing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung sometimes for gaming , every now and again , but it's mostly just used for work. And to listen to my stories on. The upside to this phone is that it doesn't take very long to charge especially if you have the right charger. The screen itself nice size. Good visual quality. The sound system is actually pretty good without headphones.It's nice and loud. The google wallet tapped pay comes in very handy with this phone. As well it is quite durable considering that myself tend to drop and break phones very often. This one has managed to make it a whole year. The phone is nice and slender, so it's not it is not like having a brick in your pocket. The a I on this phone is decent. There's plenty of things that can do for you as looking things up showing your pictures and whatnot. What it cannot do if take a screenshot for your phone.It does not have that capability. Another thing I see that is not so good is you have to restart this phone more often than the previous phone. A pop-up on your screen and notification.Please restart your phone for faster productivity. Every phone.

For some reason, it would not recognize.That you're pushing the down volume button and the unlock button at the same time and it will either just lock the phone or you'll just change the volume. But all in all it is a decent phone. Even now I love it

There is even pieces of glass missing in a few spots. But it still works. I would say thats a pretty good phone in my opinion. This phone has seen better days but its still my phone & it makes due for now. My all time favorite phone that I have ever had was a S22 Ultra samsung galaxy. Now that phone is number one in my book. I wish I could get another one just like it. Galaxy AI is my all time favorite. I could not imagine switching to anything else. Galaxy AI is all I know, I am more then happy to stay right where I am to exactly what I know. Thank u.
