OK for everyday use not for intensive tasks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy a16 5g is a decent phone and works for day to day use but it definitely can't handle anything too intensive like games or Emulators. Surprisingly AI is alright even though the device is underpowered.
Have not used the Galaxy AI with this phone so I can't say how well it runs but Gemini Pro and Grok work surprisingly well.

My Galaxy A16

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so super excited to to get my new phone but slightly disappointed in what I got. The screen was glitchy immediately, It would flip between apps to the point where I cant slow it down and shut it off or restart or anything. The most unfortunate thing is that right after I received it, a notification popped up that I was out of space. I should have kept my A13! It never ran out of space and was never glitchy. I work three jobs so finding the time to go in and switch it out. Maybe I just got a bad one but........

I love the health app feature and I don't work or go to school but if I did this would be very helpful and useful for that. I usually watch movies stream games with the gaming hub and the health app I use for working out and yoga. I am searching for work so hopefully this phone works for me I think I have the galaxy A15 though I'm not sure. Thank you

Like the phone but not happy with Google OS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Samsung A16 phone since January, and there's a lot of problems I'm having to try and fix or just plain deal with. I'm thinking a lot of the problems may be the newer Google operating system as most of the problems appear to be with multitasking been screens. The OS has to keep reloading (refresh) each app after you go out and then back in, which causes it to loose where you were at. Plus, some apps will stall a minute which makes it sit there about 30 seconds before until can use it.
I'm also having trouble with my phone crashing. It's done it three times now, and it won't even let you shut it off or restart. The first time it happened, I couldn't hardly get anything to work so I had to pull the AT&T SIM card so I could try and trigger it to give me an opportunity to restart. The second time, that step didn't even work. So, I'm thinking this could be the UI crashing; It's that or another system app. As far as the phone itself, i picked it out because I wanted to have the SD card capability. It's a comfortable phone to use and handle. It's almost the same size as my Note 8, which I loved!

Love my Galaxy

It's a nice 5G phone and does what I need it to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the Samsung features are here. And the quality of the unit itself demands some mentioning. The camera is great with lots of versatility to choose from. The 5G works without a problem giving me high speed communication to upload pictures and video as well as stream my favorite movies. The resolution is really nice too. The newest OS available really commands some power along with the hardware Samsung included in this model.
I do have one negative and that is there is no wireless charging on this unit. A QI relatively cheap and should come with everyone. I used to add them myself when phones had removable batteries for a couple of dollars. Really no reason to only put wireless charging on the main series.
The USB C port can get physically wobbly from use all the time so having to charge your phone wirelessly would be a perfect option in those cases. Maybe thats the point that they want a MTBF to be low to get you to buy more often or to upgrade to the better models. But all that aside I do love Samsung products and look forward to updates almost daily. These are well tested units and I trust that an update won't brick my phone due to thorough testing before it reaches me.
I also like the fact its easy to copy almost 100% my old phone apps, pics, videos and messages effortlessly using Samsungs provided transfer software. I will plan to continue to buy Samsung for these reasons and hopefully I've convinced some of you why.
