[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A16 for a few weeks now, and I’d rate it 3 out of 5 stars. It gets the job done for basic tasks like streaming, texting, and browsing. The Galaxy AI features are helpful, especially for things like translation and voice typing, but they’re not always as smooth or fast as I expected.
The phone looks nice and feels good in my hand, and I appreciate the long battery life. However, I’ve noticed some lag when switching between apps or doing heavier tasks. The camera is okay, but not great in low light.
Overall, it’s a decent phone for the price, especially if you're not a power user. It has potential, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

While Google Assistant serves as an excellent everyday virtual voice assistant, Gemini brings added capabilities for more in-depth interactions. If you notice that your device is experiencing slowdowns during specific tasks, we recommend performing a quick optimization. Just swipe down from the top right corner of your screen with two fingers to access the Quick panel, then tap on Settings. From there, navigate to Device care and select Optimize now. This will help enhance your device’s performance by closing unnecessary apps, scanning for unusual power use, clearing up storage, and identifying any unstable or potentially harmful applications. If you don’t see the optimization option, your device is already performing optimally.

Great phone for most part

The streaming music that i do is strictly in the car because i dont have a radio and i have never dropped a call or waited for it to buffer. Tons of memory and tons of apps.
