Samsung Galaxy A16 review 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are on a budget and need an affordable phone with a big screen then this is the phone for you!
With the 128gb memory it's the right amount of storage to keep photos/videos, texts/emails, etc.
Other notable features: Speaker volume for video watching or listening to music is good quality that doesn't disappoint!
A great camera feature that's great for photos near and far!
You might be wondering why I gave 3 stars out of 5 since the reviews sound positive. Yes these are absolutely great features for day to day usage but there are some things that can be improved for the future.
1. Speaker volume for phone calls isn't loud enough for individuals who have a hearing problem, otherwise I'd say the speaker volume for calls is about average.
2. Latency can be slow at times when connected to certain wireless internet network connections.
User recommendation: Usually I try to restart my phone once every one to two weeks. The A16 should be restarted one or twice a week and not every other. This is something that I've learned firsthand.
I would consider these the only cons.
Hope this helps if you are looking to purchase or upgrade!

This product is super versatile, I love the A16.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the A16's audio streaming quality, especially with Bluetooth earbuds connected. Galaxy AI has been a big part of me using this phone, especially when I'm having a tough time typing long paragraphs.

Plenty of storage with fast ability to access streaming contact for movies and sports events.
Adding additional Sim card helps keep the phone running smooth.
Sharp contrast with great color makes viewing movies, sports events and concerts enjoyable.

Samsung A16 has much more than my old phone.

Absolutely great for the price range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I kill phones so I buy galaxies of the A series. This may be the "economy" model, but it's great! The camera is superb, sound great, no galaxy has ever died an early or undeserving death yet. I have only gotten replacements to allow apps to be able to run , after running one over , and a huge fall. All on all I am a dedicated Samsung Galaxy customer for life.
