Slow, Laggy and Feels outdated

Not much of upgrade, Thought an upgrade from an A14 5g would be faster and or better, however it is slow. Even turning off animations, unloading unused apps, optimizing, powering on and off did not improve it. Poor quality phone this time. A14 5g was superior to A16 5g. Very strange experience.

We recommend optimizing your device using the Device Care feature in your settings. The Quick Optimization feature can enhance your device's performance by identifying apps that consume excessive battery power. It also clears unnecessary items from memory, deletes unneeded files, scans for malware, and closes apps running in the background.
Optimizing your phone is quick and simple. From Settings, swipe to and tap on Device Care, then tap "Optimize now," and finally tap "Done."

This device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, designed to provide up to 18 hours of continuous playback. If you’re experiencing rapid battery depletion or receiving slow charging notifications, ensure you’re using an authentic Samsung charger cable and adapter. Within the Device care menu, you can check the estimated battery life based on your recent activity and monitor which apps are utilizing your battery.
To do this, open Settings and select Battery. You’ll find your battery usage displayed prominently in the menu. Tap ‘View details’ to access information about app usage, including Screen on time and Screen off time. This will help you identify which applications may be consuming more battery than expected.
For your device’s network connectivity, if you find that you cannot connect to 5G, please verify with your carrier to ensure you are subscribed to a 5G plan and that your account is in good standing. Additionally, check that you are in a region that supports 5G services.
