Solid Case, Good Value

I liked the Samsung rugged case for the S9 (using it opposite the Alcantara case), so when I got the S20 Ultra, the rugged case was at the top of my list of must-have accessories. After using it for a few days... I can say that it's better in some ways, but not so much in others.
The case has a nice, snug fit... The sides come up just over the edges of the phone, protecting the corners and screen for when the phone is face-down. The back extends over the camera island slightly, offering better protection than other "slim" cases. The ridges that run along the length of the phone offer some grip, and the interior has a rubbery, textured pattern that holds the phone firmly in place. I haven't dropped the phone, but the case looks like it could take a tumble and keep the phone in good shape. The kickstands are a bit thin, but work well enough - they will pop off if you pull them out too far, or push the phone down on them too hard - but they snap right back into place... same as the case for the S9.
Where the case falls short is the finish of the plastic. Whereas the S9 case had a "soft-touch" rubbery plastic, this case has a hard, glossy surface that picks up smudges and scratches easily. The hard plastic feels "cheap", and not as "premium" as the S8 and S9 rugged cases (as well as some rugged cases from third parties).
Overall, this is a good, solid case. It's a good choice if you prefer OEM cases - decent protection and good value.

Sturdy enough case, but cheap build overall

Same complaint as most people here. I trust the case to protect the phone as it's pretty hefty and solid itself, but I was hoping that the kickstand would be at least somewhat usable.
Don't even consider it a feature - it's completely useless. It pops off every time you lean the phone on it. It's a cheap unattached piece of plastic, who's is so frustrating cause it's an expensive case and a sturdy piece here would've made it good.

Flimsy Kickstand

The case has a weak and flimsy kickstand which is bound to break any minute with a bulky phone such as s20 Ultra.

KICKSTAND SUCKS

One minute out of the box and I set up the phone with the kickstand and it flew off across the room. DO NOT buy this for that function the long and short stand legs are very WEAK and will break off. They can be put back on but just forget they are there. Other then that it is very sturdy case to keep the phone safe.

Literally the first time I tried the super thin, flimsy larger kickstand, it broke off. Do NOT get this case. It's like they never even tested it with an ultra!

Love this case

I have this case on my Note 10+. Yes the stands are flimsy. One leg came off first time I used it but it just pops back in. Now I know not to be rough with the leg and it works great to watch movies, videos or tv. I love the case so much I ordered the same for my s20+5G that I'm trading my Note in for. Shipped today.

A very good case

i have a couple of different cases for my s20 ultra, but this is the one i keep it in. it is well protected & i use the kickstands very frequently. my only complaint is that the kickstand (especially the longer one) pops off too easily & after over a year of use it barely holds the phone up anymore. i would give 5 stars if replacement kickstand sets were available for purchase or provided with the case.
