[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a versatile laptop that I can use for work and home. I like the fact that it's compact yet very powerful. Highly recommended, especially if you are comparing it with similar brands!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace a 6th Gen X1 Carbon that was starting to show its age. Great machine, lightweight is important with all the travel, battery life is excellent, and it outperforms what it replaced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size. Lenova has a very easy step process to follow when setting it up. It is lightweight, I work in many locations and this has been great. I have owned this for 3 months now. I did order the Gen 12 to save on money. I am not sure what the differences are with the Gen higher, but the 12 works for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this laptop for my new job and it's small but mighty. The resolution is great, sound is good, and overall very easy to set up and move around with the many apps I have to utilize on a daily basis. Would definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, right around the year mark after purchasing this product, I started running into issues. While the performance of the PC was fine, the thing kept crashing out of nowhere. I am led to believe that there may be some planned obsolescence in play here or questionable hardware installation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12. We’re very sorry to hear that you began experiencing unexpected system crashes around the one‑year mark, especially after otherwise satisfactory performance. Lenovo does not design products with planned obsolescence in mind. Sudden crashes can stem from a variety of causes, including firmware or driver inconsistencies, component issues, or software conflicts. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support at 1-855-253-6686 so our technical team can run diagnostics, review system logs, and determine whether a hardware service or configuration update is needed to restore full stability. We're committed to ensuring your satisfaction and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.
