[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is a true classic—durable and reliable. Many of my friends also use the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and it's perfect for office work and business travel. Highly recommended for professionals!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid laptop, durable, lightweight, and plug and play. I used to have computers provided by my employers and they always went with thinkpads. There's a reason, they are a work horse. Now that I'm on my own, I had to quick buy something. I looked at many to see if I could improve upon it and this one still won out.

The return process was hassle-free, I just didn't want to have to find another refurbished X1 with the specs I wanted.

This laptop perfectly blends lightweight design with robust performance. It’s incredibly portable yet sturdy, showcasing the durability Lenovo is known for.
In terms of operations, the Gen 12 handles everything seamlessly—whether it’s multitasking, running intensive applications, or working on demanding projects, it performs without breaking a sweat. The improvements in speed and efficiency are immediately noticeable, making this upgrade well worth it.
Overall, the Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 12 has exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect tool for professionals seeking reliability, performance, and portability in one package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2nd X1 Carbon. Really like the overall design (touch screen, keyboard, weight). Only drawback is the slight redesign of the bottom row keyboard layout: Ctrl & Fn were swapped to conform to rest of industry and the fingerprint reader is now crowded on the right side of the row, presumably making the other keys narrower. Kinda gets in the way of holding Ctrl down with the arrow keys to move from word to word. Overall I am still very pleased after a month of use.
