Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's get the only negative out of the way first: the tizen OS for this monitor leaves a LOT to be desired. Changing inputs is more difficult than it should be. The monitor switching to the chosen input feels very sluggish. If given the option, choose the non-smart model.
Ok, now the fun stuff: The picture is absolutely gorgeous! This looks as good as my LG OLED. The refresh rate is next tier! No screen tearing, due to gsync compatibility. Effectively zero input lag. It's absolutely bananas. There is so much screen real estate that I can work on three tasks simultaneously. Text is bold and clear, which was a very nice surprise. After almost a year of ownership, not a trace of burn in to be found. I gave this 4 stars, since 4.5 wasn't an option.
Tl/Dr - if you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't be disappointed. Although, be prepared to drop some money on an upgraded graphics card. My 4070 TI super wasn't quite cutting it, so I had to drop some mad money on a 1590 just to make sure I could put the monitor through its paces.

I had this gaming monitor and when i used the display port instantly got a black screen. It supposed to be g sync compatible but its definitely not.If you want to use the full capability of this montior unfortunately you will have to settle for hdmi instead. You should be able to use display port at its full potential but this is just like their older odyssey oled 49 inch model.black screen, black screen and more black screens.

So far, so good...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor to replace my broken one. I decided I wanted something higher end not just bare minimum as I've usually done. The dual display was what initially caught my attention. I use this in our RV and at home for gaming. It's great to not need multiple screens for things as I had in the past when home gaming. It's been great in our RV as my husband and I can each use it together. While I'm streaming from my handheld gaming console and he's playing Playstation it's been pretty great during our travels to have one display that works for multiple things.
My complaints, the provided remote is kinda annoying it's far too sensitive and tends to constantly have accidental input. It's also semi frustrating to get the dual display up and going. Make sure you have the patience to go through the setup each time. Not very user friendly and intuitive. These are the reason I've taken off a star. Over all still far better than all my previous monitors.

Excellent for work and gaming. Too few ports.

I've recently bought this product and I'm very happy about it. I won't list the pros, since it really is a very excellent screen. I use it for both work and gaming and it quite excels at both. I'm used to a Dell IPS screen, and I find that both text and graphics works well on it.
There's a few cons, though, but since the pros are far larger than these cons, I'll still give it five stars. Cons: 1) There's no USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode. There's one USB-C exit port for computers, so you can connect mouse/keyboard/etc to the screen and then connect the screen to your computer. But since there's only one USB-C exit port you cannot switch between computers without moving cables around. This really should be an included feature.
2) Besides from the USB-C exit port for computers, there's only two other USB-C ports. Why? We'd really like more ports.
3) There's no jackstik for headphones. Why?
4) There's only USB-C ports. Why? Most of us still have USB-A equipment and it is more than a little annoying to have to use adapters and usb-hubs.
5) The USB-C ports are too close together; you cannot use USB-A equipment with an USB-C adapter, since there's simple not enough room between the USB-C ports. Instead you are forced to use a hub.
6) The screen menu is slow and sluggish. Has a lot of quite excellent features besides from that and the controls works very well, but it is slooooow.

A very frustrating piece of hardware

Let's get this out of the way, first. This is a very beautiful monitor when it works as expected. No issues with the screen quality itself.
Now to the bad parts that have made buying this monitor a bit of a regret: - The monitor frequently either 'shorts out' in a way that it goes black for a few seconds (not at all ideal for competitive gaming), or decides to switch inputs for some reason. Have tried with multiple cables, same issue - The monitor being 'smart' is actually a GIGANTIC headache, as instead of just opening straight to my PC screen (like any other monitor would when that's the only thing connected to it). Instead it opens to Home and Samsung TV, greatly slowing down the ability to just turn the PC on and go - Ever since having this monitor plugged into my desktop, the desktop won't complete a startup on the first boot. It works every time on the second boot for some reason, and this never ever happens with another monitor.
Again, it's great when it works, but it is VERY frustrating to have a monitor just cut out on you or not key into the one machine it's plugged directly into. Do not buy this or other 'smart monitors' if you want to avoid that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is great monitor but for sure not for work . My eyes gone bad after using it for 2 hr & also started headache too. The fonts are very tiny/ blurry & hard to read after sometime. For sure this will be great for gaming or streaming . If you are looking productive , look for something else . I was super exited to get this monitor. 1st time moving from 27” setup to this, setup was clean & less wires . But unfortunately had to return because of above reason .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features, gaming, you name it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor for everyday use and because the tremendous real estate allows me to multitask without losing track of my work. Working from home has been so much easier with this monitor. The monitor is packed with features that I may not even get a chance to use much, but I’m still very happy to have for when I do need to use them. I don’t game as much as I used to, but with this monitor, I can’t stop gaming whenever I start. The quality of this thing is amazing! The specs and features are available for everyone to see, but it’s does no justice unless you try using the actual monitor for yourself. I must mention, this monitor also serves as a streaming device which allows you to stream from all of your favorite apps like YouTube. Think of it as a television as well and yes, it does come with a remote that makes it so much easier to control the monitor without having to reach across to the control panel on the back of the monitor. While my overall experience has been great, there’re still a couple of things I would’ve been happy to see implemented on this monitor. A LAN port for would’ve been a nice addition for folks that prefers hardwire as opposed to using WiFi. While I understand the monitor is really thin, I still see room where it could’ve been implemented, it’s not a deal breaker for me, but I’m sure it will be for some people. One last thing I would have been happy to see, is an additional standard size HDMI port making it 2 plus the current 1 micro-HDMI or

Bluetooth cannot be deactivated, not in the normal menu, not in the service menu. Samsung has taken away this option in the MRT menu. Streaming is not possible without wifi. There is no LAN socket.
