Great toy

The toy seems very durable, my son loves transformers, the package is upto date with today's times , the quality of the toy seems good it is kind of difficult figuring out how to 5urn it bak into a car but after you follow the instructions it easy .

Cool Concept But Very Complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive a free Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Bumblebee figurine! I remember the cartoons and commercials from the 80s and my younger brother had a few transformers in our toy box during our childhood. Upon receipt I was a little disappointed that it was going to take 23 steps to transform the figurine from a robot to a car. The instructions are for children 8 years and older, but I struggled to understand what the picture was trying to convey in multiple steps. My son is almost 7 and can usually master other toys meant for much older children, but he struggled to transform the toy and eventually gave up. Even if a child could follow the instructions, I feel like it would only be a matter of time before the complicated instruction manual gets lost and the child can no longer transform the toy. The toy isn’t the sturdiest so I also question how long it will last, especially if me or my child accidentally turn the toy in the wrong direction when attempting to transform the toy. It’s a shame that the toy isn’t easier to transform and I know parents would appreciate a few less steps to make the toy easier for young children to play independently instead of asking a grownup for help. Personally I wouldn’t give this toy as a gift. I know my boys got frustrated and quickly lost interest in the toy and I feel like other children would feel the same.

Cheap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was smaller than I was expecting. My 10yr old thought he was too old for it, yet couldn’t figure out how to turn him into a car so apparently he isn’t. Packaging looked a bit cheap. It hasn’t broke yet but probably won’t be long.
