The case is smaller than the phone. I've owned other Otterbox cases before and never experienced this much difficulty putting on a case. If well designed, a case should be sturdy and easy enough to slip on and off. Also, the case mold of the right side button does not sit well on the actual phone button. You need to apply more thumb pressure on the top button and less on the lower. I will be returning the moon walker case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear about your frustration with your Symmetry Series case! The good news is, we have a helpful tip for easier installation of that OtterBox. We recommend installing the case on the right corner first. Once your camera and power buttons are in the case, move clockwise, and insert the bottom right corner of the phone into the corresponding corner of the case, so that the right side of the phone is installed in your OtterBox. After, apply pressure to the bottom left corner then the top left corner. To remove the case, simply do these steps in reverse!
Having said that, it's definitely odd to hear that you're experiencing troubles with the power button on your case! We'll be sure to let our design team know about this. The good news is, we have a great warranty, so if you haven't returned your case yet, feel free to call us at 1-855-688-7269 for a replacement!

I bought this case last October and I’m so glad I did. I always drop my phone. I’ve have dropped it off high places, on concrete, on tiles. And the case protected my phone! The first day I got my phone case it was really hard to get on my phone, but after a month it came off/on easy. I do recommend this case if you drop your phone a lot.
