When the case arrived, I saw that it curved forward slightly. The softer plastic around the front edges was contracted and the case did not lie flat on the table, it rocked a little. Getting the phone inside the case was very difficult because of this. The iPhone 12 has sharp edges that dug into my fingers as I tried to force the phone inside the case. I gave up three times before putting on vinyl gloves and persevering. A softer case would go on easier. The case fits fine now that it's on, but after one week I already see scratches. It's expensive considering these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We find that if you start with the top right corner (camera and power button corner) as you’re looking at the screen and work your way counter-clockwise around the perimeter, that installation and removal of this case will be easier.

I’ve had this case for about two weeks and it’s been great. I love the way it fits to my phone. It was a little difficult to get on but it’s snug and protective. No issues sticking on a popsocket

I have only ever used Otterbox, for the last almost 10 years. Unfortunately, this product is not one of my favorites, due to this product not being a clear case. The color of the iPhone is why I chose clear, so that is why I am posting this as a disappointment. It is more of a silver case than clear. You can see in the photo the metallic blue around the camera piece is not very clear to view at all, in this case. Also, it is not farfetched to envision that the plastic piece above the adapter insert will break, eventually. I am grateful for the guarantee though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've always liked OtterBox cases. With many drops over the years, my phone has almost always been well-protected. One time, a toddler kick to the phone and landing on bricks got the better of the last symmetry series clear case I had, but nothing fatal to the phone. This 12 version of the case also seems to be protective. It has a nice slim profile, I like the clear series to enjoy the look of the phone itself, and the gold floral design I selected hides scratches nicely. The only aspects I don't like: 1) it's harder to get on than past products I've used, and 2) there is a space running between the hard case and gel case components that will gather dirt and feels rough on the back bottom edge.

Initially, I thought I would have to return it because it only covered the back I have no idea what I was thinking because most of the cases I had were like that. When it arrived, it was thin and light enough to go into my iPhone Crossbody bag. It's also very stylish and I love the Stardust look. It was definitely worth the money and it was easy as pie to insert the phone into it.
