Wish it were "better"

I purchased the clear case after purchasing the iPhone 12. Love, the feel and the look....however after having used it for a month (and may I add I am VERY careful) the case has multiple scratches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought one of these and it turned yellow/green. I thought maybe I just got it dirty or got a defective one, so I purchased another. It turned yellow within a couple weeks. I've read on other reviews that the material turns color over time, as it is exposed to the elements. I tried cleaning with dish soap and rubbing alcohol and it did nothing. It's a real nice case and that is why I gave it 2 stars, but the discolor is annoying. I'd suggest getting a colored one....but then you can't show your nice phone.

This is my second time having this case; my first one lasted years and I was pretty tough on it. I got the purple iPhone and wanted something that would show the color but add some glitter also and this was perfect! It’s nice and smooth, not bulky but provides great protection.

I’ve had my case on for less than a month and the back is so scratched/scuffed up. I have had previous otter boxes for years without this issue. This is my first clear case and I would not recommend it. Very sad that I spent the money and it already is getting wrecked. I should’ve read the reviews, I see this seems to be an issue with others also so must be a product issue.
