Super Sturdy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this in my classroom, and I have found it to be tremendously helpful. It’s so nice to have something sturdy to place my notes on while lecturing. Additionally, my students are working on public speaking and they have found it to be particularly helpful! Providing them with a solid and sturdy lecturn to stand behind, while placing their notes on it, affords them the opportunity to gain that extra bit of confidence and security that some of them need. It is a beautiful piece of furniture, and incredibly solid. The wood is rich and it complements my classroom nicely. I must warn you; it is incredibly heavy. I was not able to carry the box into school on my own. As long as you have two “strong” adults, you will be fine. The assembly was a piece of cake! I could not be happier with this, and I know that my students truly appreciate it, as well! Highly recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I have to point out that it’s white!! I am used to seeing all black or the typical brown/wood color but I am soooo happy that I purchased this white one. It was an easy assembly and it is pretty light enough for me to move it effortlessly.

For Your Next Speaking Engagement Maybe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The podium has a nice silver overlay over what appears to be particleboard. It does weigh more than 50#. The surface is smooth and clean. The top area has a place for a couple of pens/pencils/markers. The top surface will nicely hold a couple books and/or notes. It does help to have some extra help if you are physically limited and wisdom for putting it together, since the instructions are quite limited... but easy for those in the know. One bottom corner of the main panel did arrive slightly damaged. It does have an adjustable shelf mid-way, with 3 possibilities within approximately a 5" area.
Haven't been able to put it to use yet, but looking forward to doing so.

Very nice podium!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this for my classroom lectures and I love it. Assembly was pretty easy as well. Very good, classic podium with the lip that holds all of your papers and books. Keeps things organized and at a good standing height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very smooth and durable. It’s was so easy to put together. I used this one to replace our older one at the school that was badly damaged. The color is beautiful and it’s very sturdy and holds up great. It has a shelf to hold things on the inside great for when your standing at the podium for a while and have a drink with you.

Perfect for our Organization

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our DAR Chapter has had to borrow a podium so many time we decided in invest in one of our own. We selected the white, and it is perfect! It's very sturdy, but not too heavy to make it easy to move if we need to. The shelf makes a perfect spot to store books or other items and our banner fits perfectly in the slot to hang down in front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a cinch to put together, it looks as sturdy as it is. I can lean on the podium as I am standing up talking and there is no give or worry that it will fall. The pencil/pen holder is a nice added feature as I am constantly looking for my pen. It’s a bit heavy once assembled but that helps with the quality.

The wood is smooth and shiny, easy to clean. The color is beautiful. It also doesn't take up too much space, so it can practically be placed anywhere and not be in the way.
