This is a great tree for the price: It has a great shape, not too wide at the bottom; the LEDs are super bright and clear, the fiber-optics are very subtle but add a lot to the overall presence. There's a 3-level brightness adjustment levels (required to limit retina damage!). Set-up is easy - the branches are not hinged, but bend into place. There is some minor "shedding" while handling/adjusting the branches.
The LED pattern resets to the first of 8(?) patterns (the over-the-top "Vegas strip mode") when the tree is turned off and the lighting control is zip-tied to the base so that every time you turn it on you have to lie down on the floor to adjust the pattern & brightness - unless you don't mind (as other reviewers have said) the seizure-inducing strobe show of the first setting.
I bought this tree for my 93yr old parents so they didn't have to deal with the lights and the mess of getting a real tree anymore. Needless to say neither of them will be crawling on the floor to change the light pattern. I made extension cables for the controller and put it up higher in the tree for them: problem solved.
I do recommend this tree for it's good looks, the brilliant lighting, simplicity and ease of set-up.

This tree may be pretty to look at but if you’re looking for a tree that has more realistic looking branches this one is not for you. The “needles” are flimsy, shiny plastic strands, probably to reflect the lights better. Just not what I was expecting or wanting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had this for a couple of years, last year the controller box went bad with a loose connection somewhere so that the bulb tips don't light up unless holding the power inlet a certain way. The CT-11L multifunction controller seems to be very shabbily put together. Be aware that it may not last more than a Christmas or two..

2 days shipping a joke. It's a total lie!!!

They said they will ship it in 2 days, but they didn't ship it. Its been 5 days since I purchased the item. I contacted them twice, finally they sent me a shipping info on my email. When I tried to track the item, FedEx created a shipping label but never received the item. They are not willing to cancel the order even though I didn't get a shipping info. They just need your money. Very bad business!!
