No matter how careful I was in installing the screen protector, there was specs of particles and did not align perfectly.

Really nicely packaged, and easy to apply precisely. HOWEVER, at least for my fingers, the screen protector provided enough additional insulation that the phone responded very poorly to touch. I had to remove. Of note, the iPhone 12 has newer stronger glass, so questionable how much the extra protection is needed.
