Perfect for sawing and embroidery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression after unboxing was great. The smooth white body is very beautiful, not too heavy so it is easy to move. I can change between sewing and embroidery mode very easily, lightly and quickly. The device has a touch screen and can connect to wifi, which exceeds expectations. I feel like I can embroider the whole world with just this machine. Its price is actually a bit high but everything it brings is completely worth it. I really like this machine #Influenster#Brother

Best sewing machine!!

Brother LB5500S Star Wars sewing and embroidery Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me start by stating I am a beginner with little experience in sewing and no experience in embroidering. The Brother LB5500s Star Wars sewing and embroidery machine has a LCD touch screen display, 80 built in embroidery designs and 103 built in sewing stitches. Since this is a Star Wars edition machine it comes with adhesive Star Wars designed faceplates. There’s also a code where you can download 10 embroidery Star Wars designs from a website, however I actually haven’t been able to do this because the website is complicated and there isn’t much instruction on where and which designs are free with the code.
I was most intrigued about the embroidering since I have never tried it before. Setting up this machine took about 30 minutes total. Besides the cloth and upper spool thread everything to start sewing and embroidering was included with this machine. There are directions directly on the machine on how to thread from the top spool. Once I played around with the settings a bit I finally decided to take an old cloth to try and embroider. I just followed the directions in the manual and I was able to embroider!
I believe this machine is very user friendly and great for those who don’t have much experience with sewing or embroidery. I love this machine and now I have a new hobby!

Free from Influenster, would buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some experience with a Brother sewing machine in the past but zero embroidery experience. So when I was offered to try this Star Wars embroidery version I jumped at the chance. This comes with almost everything you need to get started. It takes maybe 20-30min to set it up and get it going. The touch screen is very nice, it includes 80 embroidery designs and 103 stitches. Once you get the hang of it, this sewing machine is actually easy to use and embroider with! I am very pleased with the quality of this product and its ease of use. 10/10 highly recommend for beginners as well as advanced users.

Major upgrade from old model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a model from the 90s, so this digital display was a big upgrade for me. For anyone wondering about the theming, the Star Wars decal is completely optional. It does not come installed, and they actually send you 3 different options. So if you see one of these on sale but you don’t want a machine with decals- yeah. I haven’t tried the embroidery function yet but I’m excited to figure it out!

Hi-tech and great for detail work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine!!! Brother products have always been consistently really good, and this machine takes it to a whole new level. The screen is easy to navigate (I included a pic of the buttons) and there are so many functions - from basic sewing to hemming (me, lol!) to more advanced designs. This would be a great machine for intermediate to advanced users!

High Tech Machine !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has only ever used a sewing machine from the 80’s, I am so impressed with the technology of this machine! The LCD screen makes it easy to change settings. There are step-by-step instructions right on the machine to thread it, and it even self threads the needle! I also love that it can also do machine embroidery. It comes with many designs preloaded onto the machine with the option to buy more from their site. I’ve also noticed that most designs available for purchase on other sites come in file types that can be read by this machine which opens up the possibilities! Overall, I’m just so thrilled to have this high quality machine.

Difficult
