Pup Rescue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really enjoyed playing with this Barbie set! She thought the dog was really cute too. It comes with fun accessories that are easy to use. To make the dogs face change colors you have to use extra cold water or an ice cube to get it to change.

Pup adoption fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How can you resist adopting cute puppies with Barbie? So much fun with this set, from the gorgeous doll to the darling pups and and cute accessories, the possibilities were endless! My 8 year old had so much fun incorporating this kit in with her other Barbie dolls, she made her own little animal shelter and had Chelsea and Stacy adopting pups all day! We later turned it into a puppy daycare which was tons of fun too! This set definitely brought out some fun creative story telling for my daughter and brought up a lot of teaching points about adopting animals, it even inspired us to take donations down to our local shelter!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Puppy fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to receive the Barbie Pup Adoption Doll and Accessories. It comes with 2 adoption certificates where you can write in the name of the puppy, name of the doll adopting the pet, and the date. We wished the certificates were dry erase. Once you write on the two that comes with the set, that's it. I had to print certificates for her. She loved the fact that you could feed the puppy and the puppy uses the color-change pad. Overall, a great addition to her other Barbie sets and wonderful features make it fun to play with.

Great interactive set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This barbie set is perfect to take outside or play inside. Very interactive and held childs attention for a good bit. The childs imagination really takes off with pretending to be a vet and feeding the baby dog all while caring for the big dog.

Cute set with fun water feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute set with fun features. The puppy drinks from the bottle and wets on the piddle pad. The color changes yellow with water each time! This was my daughter’s favorite feature. Cute accessories and the puppy crate is large and well made compared to previous Barbie sets.

She loved taking care of her adorable puppies, feeding them a bone and giving it water. This kind of interactive play is so important for development and just having a great time. The adoption certificates were super cute and showed her the importance of taking care of animals and making sure they have a safe home. Thanks Mattel for making such wonderful toys for our children.

Everything you need to adopt a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves anything that involves taking care of animals, so this puppy adoption set was a hit. Her favorite parts were putting the puppies in the travel case and the pee pad! You can suck up water with an included bottle and “feed” the puppy while it stands on the peed pad. The water comes out and the pee pad turns yellow to give the appearance of an accident. She thought it was hysterical!

Lots of ways for Barbie to play with her pups!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic Barbie set for everyone, from the avid Barbie fan to the first time Barbie kid. My child loved that it was a set that could hold its own and didn't require any other accessories or sets to be a lot of fun. This has everything you need to play as Barbie adopting a new puppy! The doll herself is excellent quality. Her right arm is bent so that she can hold the puppy perfectly. Her legs bend at the knees so she can sit or kneel to interact with her pets. Her headband, dress, and shoes, are totally adorable too!
The certificates of adoption are a realistic touch. You can receive a certificate where you can write the name of the Barbie (or yourself), the name of the dog, and the date of adoption. The dogs each come with a collar made just for them, along with a leash that attaches for taking them on a walk. There is also a food dish, and a box for treats, with one treat to pour in the dish. There is a dog bed which is the perfect size for both pups to relax in, and a carrier that both dogs can fit in together and that Barbie carries with ease in her right arm.
Our absolute favorite part of this set is the water/ potty feature. We use the included bottle to allow the bigger dog to drink. Once she's full of water, she pees on the included potty training mat. The mat turns yellow as it gets wet, making it look like the dog really went potty! After a couple of minutes, the water evaporates so you can repeat the process again.
Overall this was a very well thought out set that any Barbie loving, dog loving, or creative play loving child will enjoy over and over again.
