Like having your own pet Pokemon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a huge hit for my Pokemon loving girls. They had a blast building it and loved that they had a moving Pokemon that they could pretend was a pet. It was easy for them to build and lots of fun. There are a few glitches with it though. The head comes off quite easily due to the features that allow it to move which has been a bit frustrating for them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for parent child bonding time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Pokémon set has pieces the size comparable to the main competitor’s size. I expected them to be slightly bigger and easier to manipulate due to the name of the brand. We were also confused why the first steps required 2 bags to be opened and sifted thru instead of having the right pieces to start in Bag 1 for the first few steps. Definitely took some parental guidance, which is a great bonding moment! Can’t wait to finish it and see the motion piece in action, which I think other brands don’t boast. Also would be great if the baggies were resealable!

Great for Pokemon fans

Instructions for Mega bricks aren't quite as clear as Lego instructions, but they can still be followed by kids, and this is the only way to get Pokemon themed building bricks.

Awesome looking Lapras

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This build took us a few hours, which was mostly done by my 5 year old. Some pieces were difficult even for me to snap together, and I had to redo a few parts when we'd accidentally pop it off while trying to attach another piece.
I like how the instructions include color coded dots to help you figure out where each piece should be placed.
The size is impressive, it makes my coffee mugs look small! It's pretty much to scale compared to our Eevee and Eeveelutions, so that's a fun bonus for my girls playing with it.
The head turns smoothly, the wheel work well as long as you ensure all the pieces are snapped completely in place.
The one major downside is that the pieces seem to pop off easily, which will mean lots of repairs when it's being played with on a regular basis.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun motion build! I was suprised at how long it took my son to build this (and the size of the instruction manual). He estimates he spent about 3 hours building, and for the most part he thought it was a great design. He told me he wouldn't be rebuilding it if he didn't need to (time and some pieces were hard to take a part) and that it would be good to display. A couple pieces he said he would have designed differently and the head wasn't very secure once placed. However, he raved about the motion features that allowed it to roll/paddle its flippers and the motion piece that allowed its kneck movement and the ability to open and close its mouth. My boys love posing these figurines (we have a few different sets/Pokémon) and making them battle against each other with their motion moves- rendering much stronger body slams. water pulses, and ice beams! You will be ready for any showdown in Safflower gym.

Fun Lapras Mega Blocks Set!

It was nice that the details were painted on the pieces instead of stickers that you had to apply. The automated movements when you push the Lapras across the floor and the knob to turn its head are neat features.

Fun Pokémon building set

It has a good number of pieces to keep him busy building for a while without being too challenging that he can’t finish it.

twice the fun of "regular" blocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so first the kids get the fun of putting together this Pokemon Lapras then they get the fun of playing with it action figure style. Because of the movement or motion as you will it's a toy to be played with after it's been put together. The older kids had fun putting it together the younger kids have been having fun playing with it like it's a toy. So much better than just plain old boring legos.
