[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Pokemon, so was so excited when I showed him this toy! He is very creative so enjoys building, the blocks are much smaller than Lego and it is quite a tricky thing to put together hence the 12+ age on it. Having said that, there is no reason a younger child could have a go at building it with the help of a parent. It is actually bigger than I had expected it to be and looks absolutely fantastic. We all love that you can wind it up to make it look as though the Pokemon is running… It is very cute. The instructions are clear and the pieces are grouped into separate bags and numbered to help you build at ease, it can be a little fiddly but nothing too taxing. This toy is more of a model and for putting on display. I would thoroughly recommend and hope to see more like this one soon. Worth the money!

Great kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good construction kit- the instructions are clear and easy to follow, all in pictures so you can compare your progress to make sure its right. I think the age rating of 12+ is accurate.
We did have a problem with the little track, just couldnt get it to work as it kept breaking- sure we did it right, even took some it apart to fix but couldn't see we'd done anything wrong. My sons doesnt seem bothered though and is happy with the rest of it. Cute little model all in all.

My 13 year-old Pokemon fan was absolutely delighted to receive this, he began building it almost immediately and loved every minute of it, highly engaged throughout. He (and I!) are really impressed. The running motion aspect is really, really cool and the level of detail to it is just fantastic, its really well made and is of a great size also.
It now takes pride and place on my sons shelf. A must have for any Pokemon fan.

Pikachu mega blocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been lucky enough to try out Mega Construx Mega Pokémon Motion Pikachu. I like that it had moving parts, & it moved well, but didn’t like how hard it was to put some of the pieces together and one piece was missing . It is a good likeness for pikachu.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Pokémon and was so excited to see this. Does take some concentration and hard work to build but once it is built it’s fabulous. Looks great on his bedroom shelf and he is so proud of building it. You can scan it to see it move which is an added bonus. It’s sturdy which is key, nothing worse than when it falls apart as soon as built.
Has a good study base that you build upon. Good study and great quality pieces which fit together easy and come apart easily when you do it incorrectly.
Overall very impressed. Would make a good Christmas present!
