Okay Slow Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this product. As a slow cooker, it works well with one exception - I could not get the temperature probe to work. I have tried quite few times and continue getting the "Prob" error. This is somewhat problematic as this error leads to the slow cooker turning itself off and if you are not nearby, it may not cook for quite a while until you notice. Without the probe it actually cooks quite well but that really defeats the purpose of this product vs. a cheap manual crockpot that you can get for a fraction of the cost. I have not tried out the sous vide part but given my concern about the probe working, I am not optimistic and without a water circulator, I can't see this thing really doing a great job with even temperatures. Given my concerns regarding the probe and how that limits the functionality, I cannot say that I highly recommend this product. However, it's possible that the issue was user error given other people having success with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker sous vide works great. It's perfect for a busy family to make great meals with. However, with its large size, it does make it a bit hard to wash in a regular sized sink but that is to be expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I am extremely in love with my Crock Pot! It was REALLY easy to set up and understand. I opened it, rinsed it out and started making dinner with it! And the best part is, our dinner came from a recipe that was in the included recipe book! On high 5~ hours for fast pulled pork sandwiches that were so delicious! It was easy to set the timer and temp, and it was also easy to clean out. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crockpot Sous Vide Slow Cooker has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances! I have never done sous vide before this so I was very excited to try. For starters, I love the look of the appliance: it is so sleek and modern looking and it looks great on my counter. I love that I can slow cook, and sous vide really makes such flavorful, tender meat. I also love that this comes with a temperature probe as well so I can ensure that I am cooking my meat to the exact doneness I want it to! Sous vide is made so easy with this, as it comes with plenty of bags too! All you need to do is put the food into the bags and pop it into the slow cooker, insert the temp probe into the water and select your time, temp, and preferred doneness and it cooks the food so beautifully! My boyfriend and I have been trying to eat at home more to save money and we've been making lots of sous vide and slow-cooker meals with this, saving us a ton!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Crock-Pot 6qt Programmable Slow Cooker with Sous Vide. I had an older version before with basic features and this is a nice upgrade to it. Works well like my old one with the exception of a few upgrades, I like the warm function that will keep foods warm after done cooking. The thermometer is a nice feature. I’ve only tried the slow cooker for pulled pork recipes and it is fall of the bone delicious without a lot of effort. This is a big 7 quart container. It’s a good size for small parties, the interlocking lid makes it’s easy to travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently gotten to try this crockpot and sous vide. I love the versatility of this product. It comes with the bags for the sous vide mode included. And to have two cooking instruments in one is a bonus. And the sous vide makes the food so tender and delicious. I am very happy that I can make healthy dishes at minimum effort. I can't wait to try more recipes with new gadget of mine. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Great slow cooker - ok sous vide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is always the first thing I notice in a product. This slower cooker is packaged well & the box it comes in is quite nice looking. I first tried this as a regular slow cooker and was pleased with the performance. It works like most Crock Pot brand slow cookers and maybe even a step up. The food was prepared just right and I was pleased. As for the sous vide option, it is ok for a novice sous vide cooker, which I certainly am. I don’t have a lot of experience with it but thought this was ok. It eventually did the job but isn’t extremely advanced in the way of sous vide cooking which I’ve done a lot of reading about. If you are just getting started with sous vide, I don’t think you’d be disappointed in this cooker. If you are advanced, it’s probably not for you. Overall, a good slow cooker by a trusted brand.
