[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crockpot - SLOW COOKER/SOUS VIDE Stsinless Steel in 7QT is a beast! I've thrown countless bone in pork shoulders in to slow cook in the past and have always had to stick with the smaller sizes, with this I was able to size up and fix enough pulled pork for a very together of 15 people and still had a bit left over. I'm fairly new to the sous vide scene, so while I've not toyed with it much, what I have tried has been successful, full of flavor, and oh-so-easy! This has become a countertop consistency in our home as we both work full time jobs and love to have dinner waiting for us when we get home. You can't go wrong with Crockpot's - 7 Quart Slow Cooker/Sous Vide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crockpot slow cooker with sous vide is outstanding! Whether you use it as a slow cooker or use the sous vide feature, results are fantastic. The cooker is very well made. Love the durable, easy to clean enamel coating on the crock. Nothing sticks to it and cleanup is easy. I've made everything from homemade mac 'n cheese to chili and our family favorite PA Dutch chicken pot pie! Everything turned out great! I really like the all-digital control panel. It's very easy to use and read. It has everything you need, a timer, keep warm and delay start function. Programming the digital settings is a breeze! Great for preparing meals ahead of time or having things ready when you get home from work! I also like the soft rubberized silicone (food grade) gasket around the glass lid. It seals very well. Also appreciate the side clamps for the lid to lock in place. Makes it great for taking your favorite foods to family gatherings, etc. without having to worry about it spilling. The seal also locks in moisture when preparing foods. The Sous Vide cooking function is great! Meats from roast, chicken, pork and steaks came out tender and juicy and cooked through the way I like. You can adjust the doneness of the sous vide function. I prefer meats more on the well-done side. You can use the sous vide function for more than just meats. The sous vide function is very easy to use as well! The included cooking bags are convenient and make clean-up a breeze! The sous vide probe has a long cable and good connector. I really like the 7-quart size, it's great if cooking for a family. It has lots of room to prepare everything in the crockpot without spilling over! The Stainless-Steel exterior is outstanding! Not only is it very durable and well made, but it also looks great too! The Stainless-Steel finish will go with any look you have in your kitchen. The Crockpot Slow Cooker with Sous Vide Stainless-Steel, 7-quart is a modern twist on an old family favorite for cooking up your favorite meals! And it as a good look and quality feel! I highly recommend this crockpot! You will love it!

Makes Sous Vide cooking so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly love this slow cooker with sous vide, it is so easy to use and makes cooking a breeze. I have never tried to sous vide and thought it is too complicated. I thought that you need many different tools to be able to keep the right temperature and that it takes a very long time. Now I am so glad I got this slow cooker because sous vide cooked meat is so much more delicious. The crockpot came with a cute little cookbook that includes many recipes you can easily follow. It also includes the temperature probe and five sous vide plastic bags so that you are ready to cook your first meal right away. I tried the turkey breast roast and the balsamic glazed pork chops and my family loved it. No leftovers because my kids and husband asked for more! I also used the crockpot for a standard slow cooker recipe and it came out perfect. I am honestly not the best cook but using this slow cooker makes it quick and easy.

It's good but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this slow cooker to try out and review and it is just OK. The features and functions of it are nice and work, but it's missing a couple things that could make it better.
The lid latches and locks closed and in place but then when unlocked the metal wire clasps and the locks just flop around. When opening the cooker and holding the lid to the side vertically so moisture drips back into the cooker the locking latches just dangle there and then you have to grab them and get them out of the way to place the lid back onto the cooker.
The temperature controls when using as a slow cooker only has a low / high setting plus a keep warm. The low cooker is actually more of a medium level heat so it would be nice to have a true low/medium/high like some other cookers.
The sous option works, but a traditional sous vide cooker with circulating water works better and produces better results.

It has a 7-quart capacity and comes with a temperature probe that allows me to cook my food to the desired temperature. I gave used this a few time for prime rib roasts, in the oven I always tend to over or under cook but with sous vide you get the perfect temperature internally every time. Such an easy way to cook things an walk away with no hassle.

The cooking dish has a large capacity, it also came with a temperature probe. I appreciate that the bowl can easily be removed for cleaning. It looks good and cook well!
