They don’t last

I bought 6 of these awhile ago and I loved them at first. Unfortunately after only a few months, they started to get super wobbly and they started to splinter. I’ve tried sanding, using wood glue and trading out some of the cheap hardware, but it’s a losing battle. I’ve spent more time working on these than I have sitting in them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once assembled this chair is quite nice. It folded up well with a little adjustment. The assembly took some time....many many pieces, but my husband is very patient. I bought these for sitting around the firepit at the ranch, so they have not been used yet. I did sit in it and found it comfortable, roomy and sturdy. Quite satisfied and great price.

Splitting wood

I purchased 4 of these Adirondack chairs a few weeks ago. We set them up and put them on our deck but haven’t even sat in them yet. The wood has split terribly on 3 out of the 4 chairs and it looks like I’ve had them for years, not weeks. I can only imagine how these are going to look and feel in a couple months from now. I am very unhappy with this purchase and feel like I wasted my money, since I will inevitably have to replace these very soon. Based on my experience, I would not recommend these chairs.

I had Adirondack chairs growing up. So I like the memories associated with them.
These chairs are a good value.They have a nice styling and I like that they fold because I want to bring them out when I need them. These chairs are roughly finished i.e. the wood is not sanded and the stain is very uneven. But good for what I had in mind. I used a water resistant stain and used stainless steel screws instead of the ones provided. I want to get many years of use and I think this will help.And they came out beautiful! These can be great chairs with a little effort

I bought this a little over a month ago and I am so pleased with my purchase. Although it had to be put together, it didn't take long at all. It folds up easily and can be carried anywhere. Definitely recommend these chairs.

Great Value...Good Chair

Received this as a Birthday present.Just put it together ( after many snowstorms and finally a sunny warm day ) ..relatively easy to assemble, parts were pre-stamped and for the most part were readable..A few cracks ( by the pre-drilled holes) and one of the arm rests were missing the pre-drilled holes completely. Was able to compare it with the other arms holes and successfully attached it . Folds up easily , seat is angled for good comfort ..Gave it a clear coat of water-seal..and after it dried...Made a cocktail and read the local paper ( easily supported my 5'11 and 225 lb. frame)
