Buying in the winter we haven't had a chance to use it much, but I did set it up and check it out. Seems like a good value. Lights look good (unscrew solar cell and connect wire before first charge) and seems large and stable. Can't wait for summertime!

Cheap quality umbrella

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The umbrella arrived in good condition. We unpacked it and followed the instructions on how to plug in the solar panel to the umbrella. We put it out all day to charge and waited until evening to turn the lights on. The lights worked, although they were not very bright. Maybe my expectations were too high. We like to play cards at our table on the patio and thought this umbrella would provide enough light to keep the games going after dark. The small LED lights provided ambiance but not enough light to play cards. After two days, we had a rain shower. The water flowed down the material of the umbrella as expected but the canvas panels are not waterproof, so they ended up getting wet and the water also dripped all over us under the umbrella. After the rain shower, the lights stopped working and have not worked since, despite our attempts to disconnect and reconnect the solar panel. Ultimately, it is a decent looking umbrella that does not light up nor does it keep anything dry beneath it, which is the primary purpose of an umbrella.
