Battery Life and Usability issues

I bought four of these and installed them.
I like the design. Install was easy. Battery life claimed to be 6-8 months.
In less than a week, all four were at 20% or less charge on the new 100% full batteries Eufy supplied. This was unacceptable. I returned all four. (Temperature was in the low 30s to low 60s, but never freezing. No excuse.
And they all had the latest ROM update. Disappointed.
(For context, I am a computer pro, with a complex network, with 3 wired Wi-Fi Hot spots). I have 36 other devices working fine.
And one of the devices was 20 feet from the Wi-Fi hotspot in the garage.

Now that the lock is installed, I am very pleased with it. However, installation was not as smooth as expected. I repeatedly tried to connect it to Apple and/or Google without success. I finally gave up and tried to connect to “other”. The lock immediately connected and works without any problems.

Extremely easy install, app works great and so do the unlocking features. Very happy with this product and would recommend to anyone looking for a smart lock

The mechanism is powerful and fast, set up is the best in the business. We’ve had both Kwikset and Schlage and this is the best.

Great lock - Easy Installation

Definitely recommend this door lock as it has flexibility of fingerprint access, code access and keyed access.
