good quality, doesn't fit my drains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was sent the Garmin sink drain strainers for my honest review.
these feel like they are pretty heavy duty, and nicely coated to last, but i guess my sink drains may be oversized...? my drain hole is 3" d and the lip of the strainer is about 3.5", but the strainer part is less than 2" which allows it to slide around, leaving a gap on one side. so this would allow items to go into the drain and defeat the purpose of the strainer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They do a great job catching excess, small particle foods. Only issue I’ve had is that it moves easily and not too secure. But I just hold it when I pour something in sink and it works like a charm. Easy to dump and clean after use.

The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and doesn't rust, which is a big plus compared to cheaper options I've tried before. The mesh is fine enough to catch food scraps and even hair in the bathroom drain, but it still allows water to flow through easily without backing up.
