Came home to visit from college and mom surprised me with the YETI 30 oz in seafoam. I was so happy because I love tumblers and always wanted a YETI but just bring myself to spend the money. But now I have one and I'm hooked! Since being gifted this rambler I've purchased the 36 oz and 20 oz in seafoam.

Do other vacuum-sealed tumblers do essentially the same thing? Yeah. Physics is physics, yo.
Does the YETI have extremely high build quality? And does the lid work really well and yet remain very easy to clean? Yes and yes.
Even having owned high quality tumblers (Thermos brand) I was impressed by the thermal retentive properties of this cup. What I like best about it is how easy it is to clean though - there are no hard to clean cracks or crevices that gather gunk. Huge deal for me, who has no dishwasher.

My daughter bought me this cup about a month ago. Loved it so much I had to get another one just in case one is dirty. I always take ice water with me when I leave for work. I drink from a straw and need to have the ice. This 30 oz cup keeps ice all day so lets me drink my water all day. Perfect way to get all your water in throughout the day.
