I have a knock off brand tumbler and it seems to keep things cold just as long. I think the clear tops allow too much light (= heat) inside and warms up drinks.

I bought this a couple weeks ago, and use it everyday. Drink stays cold all day. It does seem to leak out of the black slider on top of the lid(a little). Wish it would have a better seal on lid.
