Keeps drinks cold a LOOONG time

My husband bought me this tumbler about a month ago and I love it! I drink ice water all day at work, filling it about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way up with ice around 8:30 in the morning. I leave it on my desk all day/all night and when I come in the next day, there are still ice cubes left in it. That's a cool drink of water!!

The insulation of the 30oz tumbler is impressive for hot or cold. HOWEVER one significant oversight I have seen is carbonated drinks. The inside walls are too rough. It appears that the inside has been finished some how, probably shot blasted with grit that is too large. This means there are nucleation sights for dissolved CO2 to effect out of solution. The inner walls should be polished or coated to perform on level of smoothness that glass has. This is a pretty big oversight that will probably never be addressed. On the manufacturing level this could be cheap to fix by changing blasting media. However the expense is dependent on what current methods are used in manufacture. In other words, your soda goes flat in 10 seconds and they probably aren't going to fix it.

Cannot believe how cold my Yeti keeps things. There is ice in the morning from the night before. Love that it can go in the dishwasher without breaking the seal. Haven't tried it out with coffee. A little to big for me for hot beverages.
