The lid does not float...

Man I love this wonderful beverage holding tool, it keeps my drink deilciously cold on a hot summers day while I'm floating around the lake on my oversized duck. Strangely, I ran out of the elixir that graced my wonderful stainless steel, liquid holding hand accessory, and had to remove my lid for a refill...unfortunately because of the contents of my cup, I dropped my lid. I stared aimlessly in the 60 ft abyss of fish infested waters, waiting for it to rise to the surface...it must have decided that my sunglasses, that had sunk just the day before, needed company....like I said though....best cup EVER...lid sucks

I LOVE the Yeti products! I received the rambler 30 for a wedding gift and had to buy 1 for my husband (fly fishing guide who loves ice cold drinks), another for myself in a pretty color :) and for my Dad who is a Midwest farmer and doesn't know about these things!
My Midwest Dad brings his with hot coffee or cold ice water into the tracer with him all the time! Don't even think about trying the target "keeps it hot for 8 hours" ones because they don't work. ONLY the yetis work. Also, buy one of the other no spill lids!

I got a Roadie 20 and is the best too . I live Puerto Rico and always I the beach and I bought Rambler 30 and put any Kind of drinks and stay cool with temp. Over 90 degres . I love it thanks Yeti for produce an awesome product.

I bought two of the 30oz mugs to use on our vacation. We have been using them for two weeks at home first and love that it keeps our water cold for hours. Ice will last at least 24 hours.
What I did not expect was the sip lid does not close all the way and this makes it hard to travel with in the vehicles and in our back packs.
They must make different lids and I was not aware of this when ordering them online. I'm keeping them for around the house but plan to order different lids for traveling with.
We love the mugs.
