Clear Top negates keeping drink cold

I own a 30 oz tumbler. During the moderate months when temps are 50-75 (I live in AZ), the ice stays cold for an entire round of golf. Good product. However, during sunny days, especially during the warmer months, the clear lid allows sunlight to literally destroy the ice in less than 90 minutes. I made a white plastic top to put over the lid. With the top on, the ice stays for an entire day. I just add more water.
Why with all the technology you put into the walls of your tumblers do you leave the top clear to let heat in and negate the value of the product. Even a smoke plastic would make more sense.

RUST!!!

I have only owned my rambler for about 9 months now and I use it about twice a week. To my dismay I have noticed small rust spots forming on the bottom of the inside of the cup. I am very displeased with the quality of this rambler. Especially because I don't use it on a daily basis. There is no reason there should be any rust inside of something I use to drink out of.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the 30oz Stainless Steel Rambler 6 years ago. I was and I still am impressed with how well they function. I now own the gray, sand, seafoam(wife), and the navy. I’m hooked for life. The cups are not the only thing that is top notch their coolers are too. I own 2 of those as well. Great job Yeti!

My grandparents bought me my 8th yeti product and my 6th yeti cup. These are by far my favorite cups I work at a daycare and factory. I've had several of my students who are between the ages 3 and 4 knock over my cups and it neither broke or leaked at all I use them at at very dirty and busy factory and never have to worry about if anything gets in my cup thanks to how wonderful the lids are and how durable the cups are mine gets beat up at the factory every night but its awesome.

The Greatest Tumbler I’ve ever owned

I got this for Christmas as a gift and it has been absolutely amazing ever since. It keeps my coffee warm for hours in the morning in temp in the single digits but keeps my water cool while I’m working

Doesn't keep Ice

I bought the 30oz last week and am very disappointed. I have to fill it up with ice several times a day. A friend of mine has one and it will keep the same ice all day. Maybe it's because mine is colored and hers is stainless steel? I expected better from this company.

Not what I expected. I bought my husband the 36 oz rambler and was very excited to buy the tumbler for myself. I am disappointed. The water stays cold for a long time but the ice melts immediately. I’ve had cups from other places that have kept ice for almost 24 hours. Maybe it’s the lid, but I would think Yeti would come up with a a better lid for the tumblers.

This is my second yeti and for some reason I believe my first one would keep the ice wayyyy longer than this new one. The ice melts before the 24 hours.
