We went on a vacation with my son and daughter in law during summertime in Moab Utah. It was blazing hot! She had brought her Yeti when we went hiking for the day. She left it in the car while we hiked to Delicate Arch. When we got back hours later, it was still cold with lots of ice in it. I had seen the expensive tumblers in stores before but just thought they were over priced tumblers. Boy was I wrong! They are well worth the money and I ordered 3 of them when we got home from our trip. I’m also finding that I’m drinking a lot more water now than I use to. I take it with me where ever I go.

After using every day for a couple of years, the Yeti does lose its capability to maintain my ice. Having said that, buying one every couple of years is still better than all of the other tumblers.

As far as keeping my drink cold all day and the cup not 'sweating', my Yeti is great and I would give it the highest rating. But after only one week, the colored coating is scratched from putting it in the cup holder in my car. No abuse, not an old car with a small cup holder. That's pretty disappointing. I love the color on the cup but if it's not going to hold up, I'm not sure I would buy another one.
