I had ice water in this cup when I left home on a road trip. Five hours later, I still had ice in my cup. Believe the hype: it is spillproof, it does not scratch. I tossed this cup in my tote bag and ran errands. Absolutely no spills. The drink opening is airtight. I am thinking of a "con" for this product and I cannot think of one. I purchased the black one and it is simply awesome. Don't hesitate. Add it to your cart.
