Smart space saving well made totem bin

Bought this to replace two separate bins in the kitchen, looks so smart and tidy! The bottom bin is not attached to the top so doesn’t always look like it’s aligned with the top one but it’s not a big deal! It just rolls in and out separately. Capacity is pretty good in both and I have got used to there not being a foot pedal to open the general waste bin on the top.

Noisy bin

Bin seems well made and holds plenty of waste and recycling. The only gripe we have is that it is very noisy, when closing the top lid and especially when putting the recycling bin back in, there is a load clanging, we are thinking of ways to lessen this, such as dampening material as used on a car bonnet. Other than that all is good.
