Product I now can't contemplate life without - delivered seamlessly

This was a second purchase of a JJ Totem bin. The price is crazy but I could not now live without the life enhancing design of this bin. No-one else puts 2 recycling bins and a food waste caddy in one neat stack.
The design has changed a bit with the tower both bins previously lived in now replaced by a sort of stand. The lower bin is therefore not as enclosed as on the earlier model, but does slide out more freely. The lid is slightly convex plastic instead of flat stainless steel- maybe easier to keep clean, but the curve is inexplicable and not as good looking. The catch feels less robust than previously- so will jave to handle that carefully.
The dividers that used to be provided are no longer supplied, but clip points under the rim of the bottom bin allow two separate bags to be used in that one.
Overall - still pricey but still worth it!

Looks good, fits into the kitchen well, so much easier having it all in one bin, easy to empty.

This is such a good bin!! I love that the recycling is located underneath the bin and it is very sturdy. We do use the little bin for food and find there is no smell (unless you open it!)

Totem Max is a great product. Space saving and practical. It has two 30L bins which is more than enough space for litter and recycling. Highly recommend it

This bin is exactly what I needed and excellent quality. Easy to use no bending for the food waste bin therefore I have gained space in the cupboard where I kept it. I. Do need to know where to get extra filters.

Lid design flaw

Usually I like Joseph Joseph products but this bin has a serious flaw with the lid release. The lid stuck when I press the release button after a couple of months of use, need to press the button and actually open the lid by hand. There’s no dirt, nothing to cause the lid the stuck. I contacted customer service and got sent a replacement, which the same problem happen but after just a couple of weeks. I just give up asking for replacement again, feels very wasteful even if they would send me replacement again for free.
