As written by most other reviews, it feels pricey for a bin but, having used the bin for a few weeks now it really is worth it. I’ll list all the plus points:
- lightweight and compact. So easy to take the compartments in/out, you don’t trap your fingers/hands or catch your nails
- It has made us SO much more considerate about how we dispose of waste.
- we don’t need to change the waste bin as often because the odour control pad really does trap smells (even more so if teamed with a bin powder!)
- The small unit for fresh food is perfect to sit on the countertop when preparing food and chucking out into the composter. Our 3yr old enjoys doing that. It’s easy to wash out each time so doesn’t go off/smell. We put this compartment in the recycling drawer as everything in there is dry like cardboard/plastic/glass etc so it doesn’t get mucky on the outside
- it’s pretty and doesn’t show up kids fingerprints like stainless steel does
- the recycling unit glides like a dream but fits snug underneath so doesn’t look untidy or like it’s not attached
- the design is excellent. I am obsessed with cleaning and bins are just germ ridden but this bin is so easy to clean each section and there are no edges/grooves for bits of food/fluid to get trapped into. Nearly every other bin I looked at had places for grime to sit like the hinge, the lip on the lid etc and this one doesn’t. It sounds silly but it’s just a well thought out design
- you can use standard liners and they still catch onto the bin just fine. The Joseph liners are decent but not necessary given the price difference

Great practicality, really useful to

Great practicality, really useful to be able to pick up the orange inserts with ease and put the rubbish in from wherever else you are in the home. Really happy I took the plunge and paid what is significantly more than usual for a bin, but makes a huge difference.

Smooth, slick design, practical

Best bin I’ve ever had! So easy to trundle out the compartments, very smooth closing and opening. Great design for keeping the bags in and big enough for a large family, whilst being compact enough to stow in a corner very slick and special.

Amazing compact bin

This is absolutely incredible! It is so easy to use, looks great and so compact that it fits in even the smallest space. I have been recommending this to family, friends, work colleagues and just generally anyone that will listen.
My only regret is that I put this purchase off. It is a lot of money, but completely worth it!
