Great finish and works well

Great finish and works well as an appliance. However, after only 3 weeks there is a smell coming from the odour catcher that is supposed to last 3 months.

Great design, needs some work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the design of this bin, which has two decent-sized sections for recycling and ordinary waste as well as a small insert bin for food waste. It looks good and generally functions well.
However, it has a major flaw in that the top compartment has a clip-opening lid which seems to stop working after a period of time, meaning that you have to manually lift the lid each time that you open it. If this issue could be fixed I wouldn’t hesitate if giving a 5-star review.
Having said that, Joseph Joseph have been great about replacing the bin for me, without quibble. I have noticed that the warranty is getting shorter though - the last one that I had (purchased about 2 years ago) had a 10-year warranty, whereas my most recent one (replaced this year) has a 3-year warranty, despite the fact that it is exactly the same product!

Stylish Bin

Love it! Very stylish as far as waste bins go.
The two components holds quite a lot and because the components are stacked makes it much easier to slot in anywhere.
I’d definitely recommend.

I bought this as had seen it in my friends house and she's had it for 10 years and it's still in great condition. I really like it and it's very practical but have to say the older design lid is nicer.
