I bought this 1 month ago and I'm looking the feeling of it so far. I meant to buy the full gas option but wanted this color and it only came in duel fuel range.

Beauty and function

We ordered this range a few weeks ago and have been thrilled with it since we've had it installed. It has a classic beauty and, while I'm still learning to use it, the function is excellent. I was also very happy with the number of choices to personalize my range.

I bought this a few months ago. Love the ease to use. Looks beautiful in my new kitchen. First time with a gas cook top with sealed burners. They make cleaning a breeze. Enjoy the glide of the oven racks.

Great range

We have had this model (KXP30) for a few months, now, and so far so good. The pros for me: I love the simplicity, the gold knobs and handle, and the wide, clear viewing window on the oven door. It looks really great in our remodeled kitchen! The burners are easy to ignite. We do lean on the knobs by accident, sometimes, and the igniters click, but I don't worry about it because the knobs do have some resistance and are not easy to turn with just your body. The back 2 burners for simmering are really great, as well! They do work like a charm.
My cons come in with the oven and Horus Digital Dial Thermostat. The oven is on the smaller side and we've had to get used to that, but it is not that bad. For clarification, I am able to fit 2 full size frozen pizzas on one rack, side by side. The main issue is with height. The oven has 2 racks, but when one rack, specifically the top, is set low enough to accommodate my 6 quart Dutch oven with lid, it sits so close to the bottom rack that about the only thing you can place on the bottom rack is a sheet pan, but if you only cook one or two things at a time in the oven, then you shouldn't have an issue with the size. I love the blue interior and how nicely the oven racks slide in and out! To the Horus Thermostat, it is a really nice feature that allows you to see the temperature you have set the oven. We suspected the oven was not heating to the selected temperature. According to the manual dial oven thermometer we bought, the oven is heating about 25 degrees lower than the selected temp. It is slightly annoying, and even though we shouldn't have to, we just set the temp to 25 degrees higher. However, there are a couple small things that could have been included with this dial that would have made it so much better. 1. A sound indicator letting you know when the oven has reached the desired temp. 2. A count down timer alert. I say count down, because, the count up timer that's on the dial is basically useless. These 2 things would be awesome, but there are ways around these conundrums. Where my biggest gripe comes in, and it has become more of a huge deal than I thought it would be, is the 2 hour time limit shut off for the oven. I don't know who in God's green grass ever thought this would be a desired feature!! The count up time to the 2 hour time limit begins the moment you turn the oven on and make a burner selection. This means the count up, is being used while the oven is preheating. So, for instance, if you have a roast you need to cook for 3 hours, by the time the oven has reached temperature, you have already used up, say 20 minutes of your cook time, which you didn't have enough of in the first place with a 2 hour time limit. The only good thing about it is the stove will beep an alarm to let you know the oven has turned off. You can turn off the oven and reset it quickly, enough, but not only is this annoying and shouldn't happen, if I'm elsewhere and can't get to the oven, my food will not get cooked and it can create a huge problem! This 2 hour time limit MUST be remedied! This is the only thing keeping me from giving this range a 5 star rating.
Overall, I am happy with this range! I love the look and the performance for most of the features. And, did I mention, the price was not bad, either.

Beautiful but burners don’t always light

I have used it for two months. It is beautiful and is easy to cook on; however, sometimes the burners do not light. The problem eventually goes away, but this is obviously some kind of defect.
