Solid build, solid switches, good sound. Pairs easily with BT sources. Shame it's mono and not stereo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One thing I would say is that an internal antenna would be nice. It was not at all obvious that there is an external antenna. Other than this, it's perfect. Paired up via blue tooth right away. Good sound all around.

Just what we wanted

We were looking for a compact and somewhat elegant radio with Bluetooth capability for our kitchen. This unit fit the bill perfectly. We are close to large broadcasting towers and the radio signals commonly have interference. The receiver on this radio picks up stations clearly. I’m impressed..

I love radios and this is a beauty, classic mid century look without kitsch or gimmick. Great sound for its size. Nice reception and Bluetooth is seamless. Please make a cassette player!

I have had this radio for nearly two years and I've finally had enough. I bought this for radio use and Bluetooth streaming at my desk and it fails in both measures. To begin, the radio strength is poor and often muddies the radio with static interruptions. The exact location (window adjacent) was used for comparison with an old job-site radio and the old radio brought in stations much clearer and reliably than the Tivoli. Bluetooth to the rescue? Cool your jets, this is where the Tivoli crashes. The Bluetooth signal from my device (as well as others that I used for repeated tests) will not stay connected to the Tivoli. It establishes a connection, then "Dun-dun", it drops out. Reconnects..."dun dun". It is useless. I filed a trouble ticket and the recommendations were essentially "Disconnect and re-connect" and "Remove all nearby BT devices from the area." The second recommended item would be fair if the original product description read "Don't plan to use this at your desk, or any other station were our modern world and it's many Bluetooth connected devices will interrupt your listening experience." Now that I have bailed from the native BT connection, I purchased a BT transmitter dongle. Ran it at home on my active monitors - works perfectly. Now of course, I bring it in to the office to use on my Tivoli and nothing. The AUX connection provides me with 2 seconds of streaming music, then it cuts out. Silence. I've had it with this radio. What good is a nice looking box sitting at my desk if it can't play music? Perhaps the next suggestion I will get from Tivoli is to remove the rubber duck from the building because "Real or fake, waterfowl could interfere with the performance of the Model One BT."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
