This is the perfect way to have hot lunch at our office. I work in a school and the closest microwave is down a hallway and around the corner, in a room that sometimes has kids working in it. With this, I plug it in at my desk and have hot food whenever I had a minute to it. I love it.

Overall I am satisfied with Lunch Crock Food Warmer. I fill the small "crock" and when I get to work I put it in the warmer and plug the warmer in. By lunch time it's nice and warm. My only complaint is the snap on lid to the crock/ removable pan. The instructions state that it may pop open during heating, which it did the first time I used it, and that was fine. However, it now does not snap in at all. It fits too loosely and just sits on top of the removable pan. It's not a problem unless you have something liquid that you don't want to spill.

I love having a hot lunch waiting for me, however it does not work well for liquid soups. I learned the hard way to stick with thicker foods.

There is no on/off switch. There are no settings. Basically, you plug it in and get what you get. Takes at least an hour to heat a can of soup, so this is only useful where you have no access to a microwave.

I was hoping for a little more from this product since it has the Crock Pot brand name. It only warms food. You have to be sure to plug it in two hours before you need it. You can heat food in a microwave in a matter of minutes.

This heats uniformly, unlike a microwave oven. Makes a hot lunch feel more nourishing. My only complaint is the lid. They don't fit tightly after a couple of uses - I think the heat from the pot makes them expand. (This was with hand-washing, not the dishwasher.) Therefore I'll have to carry the tiffin very carefully, and if I want to have soup, I will carry that in a separate container. I happily show off my new appliance to office mates as they trek to the dirty, crowded microwave.
