Cute little pot but needs some issues fixed

The power cord wraps around the unit so when it has hot soup or food in it and you have to transport it to another location you have to tote the cord. A retractable cord would be a better idea. Also, the outer lid should have some sort of rubber gasket so that the liquid doesn't leak and spill out when the inner lid pops off. A small hole in the top to release steam would be nice too as it would help alleviate all the condensation that gathers in the lid. Otherwise, it heats up nicely but does need some serious fixes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ordered these as Christmas gifts for 4 teachers that I work with at an elementary school. First of all, I ordered online Monday night with standard shipping rates before considering our last day of school before Chistmas break would be Friday. WOULD I GET THEM IN TIME!?!? They were delivered Thursday afternoon! Secondly, I ordered 2 different colors...2 black and 2 pink. I didn't read anything to indicate that one color was any different from the other, except for the color. But, one color (I forget which) came with an extra container! Nice surprise! Finally, the cost!!! What a great gift for such a small price!! Best bargain of all my Christmas shopping!! When I recover from my Christmas spending, I WILL order one for myself!!

I bought two of these for my family and they have already been used several times. They are a convenient size that is not only portable but also fits a good amount of food. It takes about an hour to get food from cool to hot so we just plug it in about an hour for lunch. We don't like to microwave our food if we don't have to and this handy little Crock lets us have hot food without the microwave.

I bought this for my son 's birthday to use at work He does not like to use a microwave. He says it is much better than a Thermos, which only kept his food lukewarm. He already has used it several times and is very happy with it.

Perfection for warm lunches

I bought one a week ago after seeing them advertised around on newsfeeds. The shipping was FAST!!! I tested it with just a can of beans. I thought when it said it was "slow" that it might take several hours. (Like plug in once you get to work at 8am and it would be hot by lunch at noon). NO!! My beans were hot in about a 30-40 minutes. I can't wait to use it tomorrow at work and make m coworkers jealous.

Don't leave inner lid on to warm food.

I just got this lunch Crockpot and read the instructions thoroughly so I could use it for many meals and years as I have with my full size Crockpots that I love. I expect great quality from this company. The instructions state you can leave the inner lid on to warm food. Then I looked at customer reviews. After reading MANY reviews that mentioned the lid not sealing tight after initial use of warming food and even one Crockpot employees response to this same customer concern that said they don't recommend heating food with this inner lid on, I decided to use the inner lid only for storage in the fridge and to transport. I removed it to warm my food and just used the outer lid. My food was ready after an hour and a half and maybe sooner. I did not put the inner lid back on until the metal insert was cooled after my meal. So far the inner lid still fits tight for taking anything with liquid. I hand wash the inner lid. The outer lid appears to work fine. Hopefully this solves their defective lid seal issue. I will update if this is not the case or if the outer lid has problems. It's not clear why Crockpot would continue to print directions that obviously ruin the effectiveness and use of its product. I should not have to read reviews to figure out their directions are wrong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these. They must have been from the same lot as the lids do not go on or come off properly. Don't buy the white with pink lid. . . I have two other colors that work perfectly
