I have used the lunch crock for over a year in my service truck. Im a field engineer and always on the road and on the go. No more cold food! You can put all your leftovers in this to warm it up or any kind of soups and stews. It's a regular AC plug so you will need to have a pre-installed inverter that your vehicle comes with or buy one that converts from The regular DC power outlet in your vehicle to a AC outlet like you would find in your home. They can be bought relatively cheap from online to any of your major brick-and-mortar stores. Here's an example of one STANLEY FATMAX PCI140 140W Power Inverter: 12V DC to 120V AC Power Outlet with Dual USB Ports they can be found for around $18 there are much cheaper ones available but this is from a reputable name brand. Hope everybody enjoys this as much as I do and will save you a bundle of money on not having to eat out everyday and or eat cold food and sandwiches everyday.

I like this little warmer. It is just the right size for my appetite and it fits in my lunch bag. It does not take up too much space on my desk and clean up is as easy with just a paper towel. I am trying to find ways for my husband to use this as it is a bit too small for just a lunch for him. He does like more complex lunches like soup and sandwich or chicken with rice and beans. I have 3 of these warmers so he can take two and I still have mine.
The only other thing, I wish it warmed the food to a bit hotter temperature. The food was hot in the pot but cooled quickly. All in all, my fajita meat tasted far better being reheated in this pot than in the microwave.

I just used this little unit for the first time and after one use, the lid on the container doesn't seal well anymore, so things spill if not kept leveled, when I first got it the lid sealed nice and tight to the insert and now no seal at all

I work in a school, and microwaves at lunchtime are BUSY. I bought my crock after seeing a couple of my colleagues with one. It heats refrigerated food or canned soup in about 30-45 minutes. I put frozen meals in mine, and they are heated through in an hour and a half or so. I like the way it heats food vs. microwaving. It's been FANTASTIC! There have been reviews that complain that it doesn't cook food...it isn't supposed to. Other reviews complain that it doesn't heat food quickly. Duh. It's a crock pot. They're supposed to be slower than a microwave. The lit is an issue with the warping and inadequate seal. However, even when you use it for the first time, you can tell that you probably shouldn't slosh liquids around or turn the crock over/upside down by just looking at how the lid works. My lid warps, but it returns to its normal shape when it cools. Some people have had issues with wrapping the cord. You're not doing it correctly. Still other people have issues with the size being too small. It's not huge, but it holds enough for lunch. Since a few of us have been taking ours to work, now everybody (even the guys!) wants one!

It's very small and compact. I wish it had an on/off button instead of just plugging/ unplugging it. Also, the inner container lid does not seal tightly, so I would not carry soup or other messy food in it.
