Wish it was bigger

I guess it'd be Crockpot to make a well designed lunch warmer. This fairly evenly heats my food and keeps it hot and not drying up even when left for several hours.
The paint on the silver colored plastic (Black Licorice model) started coming off quickly though. Looks kind of cheap now. Oh well.
I wish they made a bigger version of this. I got the 32 Oz CrockpotGo but the bottom only heat design is noticeably worse than the Lunch Crock (I returned it). If you don't have very wet food or leave the food for several hours, then the food at the bottom gets dry/burnt. Hopefully Crockpot makes a larger Lunch Crock that keeps the same even heating design since the CrockpotGo is a downgrade in terms of heating.

I received this as a gift after ooh'ing and ahh'ing over it during a shopping trip a few months ago. I'm loving it as we're going through winter, it's plugged in at my desk as I write this. I agree with someone else who mentioned the internal lid popping off, but that's normal from what I've read, so it's all good. Homemade soup just tastes better warmed this way compared to the microwave, and this great little thing adds 5-10 minutes to my lunch hour that I don't have to trek across the building to the break room, wait in line for the microwave, etc. Upon reading the other reviews, I'm anxious to see what else I can try in it - leftover chinese food? Chicken? I'd love for Crock-Pot to make some suggestions that I may not be considering.
Pros: great size easy to carry, no smell throughout the office
Cons: cord could be a little longer

I have used mne many times. What I like it the best for is to make omlets. I mix up
my omlet the night before and put it into a closed container. Then next day I take it to work and pour it into my Lunch Crock - to with shredded cheese and let it heat/cook between 2 to 3 hours. It is loways read come lunch time. Also makes a great warmer for hot dips, soups and casseroles.

I have warmed soups, stews and casseroles in this for lunch and it's just the right temperature for all of them. The food has been great no matter how long it was plugged in. I put frozen vegies with cooked rice and chicken and everything was warmed perfectly. The seal on the inner lid is great, even soups don't spill when carrying them. I put the food in the serving bowl the night before, put it in the fridge, and put it in the crock-pot in the morning. Can you tell it's my new favorite lunch box? I love that I don't have to use a microwave and the container doesn't leach any chemicals into my food like plastic would.
Pros: warms food without over cooking it
Cons: haven't found any

My husband bought me the lunch crockpot a few months ago to use at my two jobs. I love it!!!! When I get to school in the morning I plug it in and my lunch is ready for me, with out having to wait my turn for the microwave. At my part time job, I have 15 minutes to eat my supper. I sometimes bring soup in my lunch crockpot and don't have to waist part of my 15 minutes to heat it up. Many other staff at my school love my crockpot and want one of their own, one has already ordered hers. I just wish I could get a second insert and cover for those days that I want to use it twice between the two jobs.
Pros: no microwave wait lines.
Cons: cann't order a second insert.

I wish I could give more to this crock-pot but unfortunately I don’t think this would be fare. My husband got one for me a few months ago, and I just love it. Some birthdays came around at my office, and my friends decided that they wanted the same thing for their birthday, and my husband also decided to get one once I started to say how awesome it was to be able to eat fresh hot food not microwaved. So basically, I got a total of 6 crock-pots lunch: 2 for my house, and another 4 as gifts. To the utility, I need to give 5 stars plus! Is awesome how food comes out of it hot, and lets not even talk about soups in cold days, it’s a blessing! It’s portable, and fits almost everywhere (My husband carry his one inside of his lunch box, and I keep mine inside of a drawer at my office, so is small enough to keep it somewhere out of your sight, but big enough to hold food enough for an adult feel satisfied). The down side is some of the materials they use. I read two times the instructions, and in both manuals, don’t say to take the lid of before turning it on. So, our food takes an average of 1 hour to be hot, and that’s the amount of time we keep them on, but the lids from the stainless steel pots are shrinking and bending after only 2 or 3 uses. Unfortunately now is not safe to send soups with my husband for lunch, or anything that has liquid, because the lido won’t close. We requested a new pot, and they kindly sent another one, free of charges, but even taking the lid before heating, the warmness of the crock-pot after using it is enough to shrink and bend them, making useless the stainless steel pot to carry liquids or soups. I love the idea of eating warm food every day, but we need to retain ourselves in eating solid food (rice, meats and steam vegetables) because even beans are nor thick enough for the lid and at the end you have food everywhere. I am still looking for something safer and maybe get something else to keep our food warm during lunch break. Too bad isn’t this one.
Note: The same problem happened with all the 6 of them.

I have been using one of these for years! I keep it in my desk for the days I bring soup or something similar. I plug it in at 12:00 and lunch is ready to eat at 1:00. A lady at work has been eyeing mine so glad to be able to gift her one.
