I bought several for gifts in my office and we all love the concept of hearing lunch while we work. Personally, I think it runs a little too hot. Soup heats in about 30 minutes so the first time I used it, I actually had to unplug it and then re-heat closer to lunch time. The cord is cumbersome to keep out of the way while eating. The pot is hot so it's not like I can wrap the cord back up before I eat. A removeable or retractable would make it much easier. I regret not getting the model with the on/off switch because crawling under the desk to unplug is a nuisance so I purchased an extension cord. Just saying...think about your routine and work environment. On the surface it is a great concept, in reality not so much.

I bought this about a month ago when they were on sale 3/$30! I am so glad I did. I prep my lunches for the week and was able to leave the base at work and just bring home the inside container. It was convenient and heated my lunch to the perfect temperature! My only issue is I only received two of the crockpots. They cancelled the third one without giving me any type of notice. I wasn't charged, however it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I would have rather just have gotten one in a different color if they were out of the one I ordered. Especially now that I know how much I love it.

This little lunch warmer was a blessing. We just had an outdoors adventure in Utah, where we had spaghetti in which we used 4 warmers band they worked out perfect. The food was warm the whole time while we trekked the mountains of Utah. We used an inverter in the car and plugged the 4 on the go warmers up and the load took fine. We also had other food warmed in the same warmer for our other outings and yes everything worked out just fine. My thoughts are to prepare our food anytime we go anywhere so we don't have to stop for fast food and always have home cooked meals on the go. This product was great on the clutch. Happy eating.

I bought this because I had stopped using microwaves (food warmed in microwave made my stomach hurt). I was tired of taking cold thing to work and craved warm food. This warms food perfectly! I place my food items in an hour before I eat and it's ready for me when I am. It holds quite a bit of food. Bought one for home use and bought another for a white elephant gift.
