Perfect gift for my teen granddaughter (or myself)

This purchase made my granddaughters day, because this was something that she wanted, but it was a random "just because" gift. It came in handy while visiting the country fair, which was hot, with no shade at all. My favorite feature, is the fact that you can either use the straw, or just flip the top of the lid, so that you can just drink like a regular cup. This feature alone will keep me as a loyal customer. Being a cancer survivor, who had to relearn how to talk, eat, and drink with a straw, I've found that, most retailers that sell beverage cups, either offering it along with their beverages, or solely selling just the cup, don't take into consideration, persons who may have difficulties eating, drinking and swallowing. This feature gives me the flexibility to use the straw, which is wider than the standard straw, which at times is difficult for me to use, and if need be, I can just flip the lid to finish my drink.

This is Stanley #97 for me — not kidding. I’ve gifted them to just about all my friends and coworkers because these things are basically indestructible. They can take a serious beating and still look good while keeping drinks cold forever. Longevity? Check. Durability? Double check.
