Holds a ton of water but not worth the hype IMO

I wanted to be able to give this cup five stars because it is awesome in that it’s easy to hold and HUGE at the same time and holds a ton of water. Also, you would think that, with the hype of these cups, it would have five stars from everyone. However, the lid really needs work. It leaks pretty easily if it’s not screwed on exactly right and even then it will come loose. One time water spilled all over the seat of my car because the side of the lid happened to graze my car seat when I put the cup back in the cup holder. Then there are times where I am convinced that I need to be a power lifter in order to unscrew the lid to wash the cup. Also, it does not keep water cold as well as my Yeti or Hydroflask bottles and cups. Not worth all of the hype IMO, but I will give Stanley props for their marketing strategy.

I FINALLY got my hands on these cups! I got both shrub and cream and they arrive so quick. I am quite bummed that the one my mom wanted sold out as I was in line for checkout though. 2 minutes after drop and I missed it.

A must have cup

My daughter bought this for my birthday and I love it!! My water stays cold for 24 hours. I throw Lemon and lime in my water so when I am really hot this Stanley cup has my really cold water ready. I like how it fits in my car cup holder. I have increased my intake of water with this cup….amazing!

The lid is the worst, i hate that spills so much even when walking. But overall it’s very convenient that fits in the car cup holder and the handle is comfy.

DON’T BUY INTO THE HYPE

Ok so here’s the thing yes this is a very pretty cup but I definitely don’t think it’s worth the hype to always be sold out! It does keep you water cold and it’s nice you can for it in the cup holder in the car but this is the heaviest cup I’ve ever owned and I own a lot. Compared to my 40 oz Hydoflask it’s significantly heavier! Every time I use it my wrist always cramps up. Not to mention if you knock it over it starts leaking from the top like crazy. Personally I don’t think I will be ordering one again unless they made them lighter and leak proof. I would just order a Hydroflask, they are always in stock you can find them at almost any store now and they are so much lighter and definitely more leak proof then a Stanley.

Ice Doesn't Make It A Full Work Day
on July 22, 2022

I've been a Yeti girl for years and I heard all the hype about these Stanley's and thought I'd give it a try. I have to say that while I really love the design of the cup from the handle, to the way it fits in my cupholder, and not to mention the pretty colors, I am actually VERY disappointed thus far in the fact that it doesn't hold a candle to the length of time in which it holds ice compared to my Yeti. I can keep ice in my Yeti for at least two days. In this Stanley, the ice isn't even making it through my full work day. I am going to wait and see if my coworkers Stanley, which was purchased the same day as mine but she has yet to receive it, holds ice any better. If hers lasts longer then I will conclude possibly a faulty tumbler. But if hers doesn't hold up any longer, I will definitely be sticking with my Yeti.
