Nice but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sounded like a great idea on paper. I was disappointed when I realized that the compartment for the actual pepper or salt is basically just that clear plastic part. The rest of the shaker is devoted to the motor and the battery compartment. So it's easy to dispense and grind the spices but it'll run out fast and you'll be refilling it often. Other than that they do exactly as they say they do. So just something to keep in mind.

Sant n Pepper at the ready

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mills work well. I had stainless colored and they match my appliances. The battery department is easy to open and get batteries in place. They are easy to fill with salt/pepper (nothing comes apart, its a simple twist to open and close) The on/off dial is on the bottom. The dispensers activate when you turn the mill upside down. I am used to tilting my shakers and these work best when help almost completely upside down. They have a dial to regulate how much is dispensed which is good. My only real complaint is they have a small reservoir for the spices and are large for my kitchen surface.

Beautiful and works great

This is my first automatic/electric mills, so took couple minutes to get used to it. but they're great once you know what you're doing.

There's ON/OFF switch if you want to turn it off in case you're not going to be using it for a long time. otherwise, you can just leave it ON. it's not going to hurt anything.
To operate, you'd just turn it upside down and it'll start grinding automatically.
Turning the dial on the bottom clockwise provides finer grind, and counterclockwise for coarse.
The size of the storage works for us. we don't use too much salt or pepper. depending on your needs, you may have to fill it often.
It requires AA batteries. I'm using the rechargeable batteries and they seem to work great in these as well.

This is a beautiful set. i love the color , style and function. I got RED, which is bright red and pops out. we love it. would recommend

Best salt and pepper mill ever

I use salt and pepper constantly in my cooking, and the ability to grind quickly by just turning it upside down is great. Setup was easy, instructions were clear. With daily use, I have not had to refill the container for over 2 weeks. I used Himalayan salt in one grinder successfully, and had to experiment with different peppercorn types in the other. My first try was a tri colored peppercorn mix that kept clogging the grinder no matter how fine or coarse the setting. I then discovered that using black peppercorns alone was the best choice. I think that this grinder works most efficiently with very hard, very dense salt and pepper. Cleaning the works was easy.i am so happy with this set and it’s gonna be a replacement for the manual ones!!

I get so many compliments on them from guests. They hold a nice amount of salt and pepper so do not have to be changed often and they are very easy to use and keep clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. These pepper and salt mills are easy to use, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing. They work every single time and dispense salt or pepper evenly. These dispensers also grind evenly and quickly.

Great salt and pepper grinder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has always wanted these for his salt and pepper these work great when we got them he went and bought batteries right away so he could use them, he put the pepper in and salt in the other one, it definitely works great you get the amount of salt and pepper you want on your food
